Our volunteers are the lifeblood of our museum, with out them we simply couldn’t function.  They are committed and enthusiastic and work to provide a service to our visitors. 

Our volunteers are from many different backgrounds and ages.  Some are former shipping industry workers, some are retired teachers, others are just looking at way of contributing to the community. 

You don’t even need to know about ships, we provide full training in whatever role you undertake with us.
